Upon graduating from high school, I began a career of public service that has spanned nearly five decades in military service, law enforcement, criminal prosecution, private investigation, legal research, and fiduciary work.
From 1978 through 1992, I served on active duty and in the Air Force Reserve. During my military career, I worked as a police K-9 handler with both explosives detection and narcotics detection dogs, eventually attaining the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7).
From 1987 through 1994, I attended the San Francisco Police Department P.O.S.T. Academy and became a sworn police officer with the San Francisco Police Department. While serving as a police officer, I was activated for military service during Operation Desert Storm in 1990. During this same period, I earned my California private investigator license, which I have maintained with an impeccable record and it remains active today.
In 1996, I graduated from Golden Gate University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. I then attended John F. Kennedy University School of Law from 1997 through 2001, where I earned my Juris Doctor degree.
While attending law school and thereafter, as a State Bar Certified Law Clerk, I served in the Felony Prosecution Unit of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where I prosecuted major felony cases, conducted numerous hearings, and participated in criminal trials. This experience provided invaluable courtroom and litigation experience that has continued throughout my legal and investigative career.
Throughout my career, I have maintained an active private investigation practice throughout California, concentrating primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have also qualified and testified as an expert witness in the Superior Courts of Napa and Solano Counties.
Following my work in felony prosecution, I served in the Writs and Appeals Division of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, conducting extensive legal research, writing, and provided oral argument’s before the Court of Appeals. After leaving the Office of the S.F.D.A., I continued providing appellate research and brief writing services for attorneys throughout California in criminal, civil, and family law matters.
In 2012, I relocated to San Diego, California, where I was appointed by the court as a licensed fiduciary to serve disabled fellow veterans by acting as their conservator and fiduciary. My goal was to help veterans who otherwise could not remain in Veterans Homes because they lacked a qualified family member or fiduciary. It has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my career.
While serving as a fiduciary, I continued my private investigation practice and legal appellate work throughout California.
Most recently, I obtained my Nevada private investigator license, making me duly licensed as a private investigator in both California and Nevada.
My career has been built upon integrity, public service, and an unwavering commitment to justice. Whether serving my country in the United States Air Force, protecting the public as a police officer, prosecuting criminal cases, conducting complex investigations, representing the interests of attorneys through appellate work, or assisting disabled veterans, I have remained dedicated to professionalism, ethical conduct, and the pursuit of truth. These principles continue to guide my work today.
